We are delighted to invite you to the third edition of this exciting partnership between galleries, uniting artists from each in a group show housed in a beautiful private setting in the centre of Antwerp.
STÉPHANIE FREDERICKX gallery will present new work by Linde Freya Tangelder from her Sculpting Archetypes series, a deconstructed piece in reworked aluminium foam by Stijn D'hondt, and a new Ladder work by Kick Veldman, continuing his questioning of everyday objects. New artworks by Perla Krauze will feature, and the space will be illuminated by a paper lamp by Charlotte Jonkheer. Recently launched marble works from Karen Verlinden’s solo show Counterform will be on show, as will outdoor benches by Rino Claessens.
88 Gallery London will present poetic kinetic sculptures by William Waterhouse and an iconic Vortex table by Lukas Cober. Pierre Lapeyronnie’s dimmable pendant sculpture made from recycled glass fragments will be displayed as will a sensual ash wood cabinet inspired by sea-formed caves by Abel Cárcamo. A mesmerising kinetic light-sculpture by Maria Vera van Embden Andres and a hand-hammered copper light installation by Marius Ritiu will feature. Jacob Walls will premiere an orange Pangolin, a bench, hand coloured in thermo-cromic dye that responds to touch, while Kris Lamba’s cast bronze RV2 chair-sculpture rounds off the selection.
